A team from Edgo, which included CEO Omar Masri, COO Nidal Karyouti, Issam Hubbi, general manager of ESP Ltd and Nabil Ezarrug, general manager of Camco Oilfield Services, were delighted to attend Baker Hughes’ annual meeting in Florence this week.
With over 1,700 attendees, the annual meeting is a key event for energy and broader industry leaders to engage in thoughtful dialogue on the changing energy landscape and discuss practical solutions to address climate change concretely while ensuring access to secure and affordable energy for all.
During the event the team attended the meeting’s keynote speech which was given by Baker Hughes CEO Lorenzo Simonelli, on the way energy and broader industry can balance the ‘energy trilemma’, the need to find balance between energy reliability, affordability and sustainability and its impact on everyday lives, and drive momentum for future progress.
The meeting program also included in-depth sessions on key technology developments in gas, oilfield efficiency, industrial process productivity and reliability, decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors, carbon management, digital transformation and asset integrity and management.
