Edgo operates a state-of-the-art technical workshop in Tripoli, Libya, to maintain and repair equipment for operators in the country. Covering an area of 1,200 sqm, the Baker Hughes approved workshop is equipped with the latest technology to assemble, repair and test all major ESP systems; with a capacity to repair up to 300 pieces of equipment per month. From this workshop, Edgo’s entity, ESP Ltd, works with most of the country’s main operators.
Edgo has operated in Oman for over 45 years with specialist teams assembling ESP surface equipment and fully functional surface-packaged skids to supply to wellhead locations throughout Oman. Skid packages integrated by Edgo are installed with major operators in Oman including Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental of Oman, Oman Oil Exploration and Production Company (part of Oman Qaboos), CC Energy Development, Daleel Petroleum, and ARA Petroleum.
In Egypt, through the Reda Pump Company, Edgo has a joint venture with Schlumberger This assembly and repair testing center includes facilities for the assembly, repair and QA/QC testing of submersible motors, pumps, protectors, intakes, gas separators and handlers. The center is fully equipped with test benches for downhole sensors, repair and testing capabilities for downhole cables, surface drive repair and testing facilities, including on-site load testing.
