ESP MENA is celebrating a successful year of collaboration with its partners in Libya.
Last year saw the completion of a modernization of ESP’s workshop in Libya, which has included the upgrade and replacement of much of the equipment. The workshop, situated at the Edgo Services Center in Suani Road, Tripoli is one of three certified workshops in the country and the only one with the capacity to maintain and repair Baker Hughes’ electrical submersible pumps.
Designed to give full technical support to clients the workshop caters for:
-
the assembly of ESP downhole tools
-
the repair and maintenance of ESPs
-
test and quality control to API IIS3 (American Petroleum Institute Standards)
-
the dismantle and failure analysis (DIFA) essential to improve ESP design and prolong their life
During the year, the workshop has been used to run a range of training sessions for ESP’s clients in Libya, including Harouge Oil Operations, the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, Sirte Oil Company and Akakus Oil Operations giving them a unique opportunity to see how ESPs work close up.
Looking forward to 2024, ESP MENA will be continuing its focus on ensuring efficiency and excellence in the products and services it offers the Libyan oil and gas industry, using its state-of-the-art workshop to support clients in achieving their production goals, as well as keeping them updated on the latest advancements in technology.
