ESP Ltd Holds BHGE Technology Day

ESP Ltd, an Edgo company and the sole distributor in Libya of artificial lift systems manufactured by BHGE (Baker Hughes, a General Electric company) hosted a technology day for oil and gas companies operating in the Libyan market.

The day gave an in-depth insight into how BHGE’s products and technologies can help companies improve their oil production in Libya. The day was opened by Omar M Masri, Edgo’s Group Managing Director and was followed with presentations on artificial lift technologies, including flex and multiphase pumps, ESP deployment methods, surface pumping systems, sucker rod pumps, automation and surveillance and gas lift. The day was very-well attended with over 60 oil and gas executives attending with comprehensive and interactive discussions taking place throughout the day.

Held at Tripoli’s Radisson Blu hotel, the afternoon covered the typical production challenges (flow assurance, production optimisation and integrity management) and solutions, including the use of upstream chemicals like demulsifiers and corrosion inhibitors. Experts from BHGE led the presentations and were on hand to answer questions and give advice on BHGE products.
