Edgo has opened a new office in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in response to the demands of the rapidly expanding oil and gas industry in the region.
The new office, based in the English Village Complex in Erbil, is five minutes from Erbil International Airport and home to many international oil and gas companies.
In the near future, Edgo will be expanding its activities in the Kurdistan Region to include oilfield services and construction as well as the group’s specialized workshops and training centers.
Edgo already has a successful Edgo Services Center (ESC) in Basra, southern Iraq, which houses Edgo’s repair and service workshops, training activities, and accommodates international oil and gas companies, such as Petronas and Lukoil. Camco, an Edgo subsidiary, is also based at the ESC, offering a full range of well testing, slickline and logging services.
