Edgo is helping with efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus in Libya by donating coveralls to different health institutions in Tripoli.
Staff from its Libyan oilfield trading entity, Gunny Oilfield Services (GOS), distributed more than 220 coveralls to frontline healthcare workers in Tripoli last week and are aiming to distribute more in the coming days, with the aim of donating 2,000 coveralls in total.
GOS was responding to a call from Mustafa Sanallah, chairman of Libya’s National Oil Company, to its international partners, to help fight the virus in the country by donating vital equipment to frontline workers in hospitals and clinics.
Gunny Oilfield Services has been operating in Libya for more than 20 years. During this time, GOS has provided a range of technical and operational services to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power and water industries in Libya with a focus on engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services to the oil and gas sector.
