This year sees Edgo and, vMonitor, a Rockwell automation company, celebrate ten years of successful cooperation in Oman. To mark the occasion, Edgo’s chairman Munib R. Masri visited Muscat accompanied by Atef Kreidli, an Edgo veteran, who started his career in 1972 with Edgo’s drilling operations in Oman.
Since 2005, Edgo and vMonitor have been providing equipment and services to Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oxy Oman, Petrogas and Oman Gas Company (OGC). To date installations have exceeded 5000 wells, operating in some of the most challenging production environments in the world.
Edgo and vMonitor have provided a new generation of automated technology to increase production and cut costs, with assembly and integration of new vMonitor Remote Terminal Units (RTU) taking place at the ISO 9001 approved Edgo Services Center (ESC) in Muscat. These RTUs cover a wide range of wellhead automation solutions including free flow, electric submersible pumps (ESPs) and gas lift and water injection.
Alongside its work with vMonitor, Edgo integrates and assembles the full ESP surface package and offers an integrated skid package and service to major ESP contractors in the region.
