Camco is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed a pilot well test for Iraq’s South Oil Company (SOC).
The test program was performed in the Luhais field and was designed by Camco engineers to meet the highest environmental standards; the test was carefully planned so that well effluents would not be burnt nor disposed of in pits.
For the test, Camco used its mobile well testing unit with a 1440 psi separator, choke manifold, piping and safety instruments mounted on a process trailer. Real time data was transmitted by a wireless data acquisition system to a utilities/process control trailer. Camco’s specialist engineers performed fluid sampling and analysis in the utility trailer laboratory at regular intervals. Camco is looking forward to building on this success with SOC and turning it into a long term relationship.
Camco operates out of the Edgo Services Center (ESC) in North Rumaila, which is strategically located to serve the oilfields of Rumaila, West Qurna and Zubair. The ESC is home to international companies and offers state-of-the-art workshops and multidisciplinary training facilities as well as offices and accommodation facilities.
